FAST FERRY SERVICES
Cape Air is as expensive as flying to Paris. If you want to skip the traffic, use one of the two excellent fast ferry services between Boston and Provincetown (c. 100 minutes each way):
Bay State Cruise Company
1 (617) 748-1828
Smaller vessel with lovely outdoor space up top. On busy weekends, they often run two boats; if you’re early you can catch the first sailing.
Boston Harbor Cruises/City Experiences
1 (617) 227-4321
Larger vessel with more space inside. A bit less challenging in high seas.
